Battery und Accumulator

Haug's innovative partners in the field of battery and accumulator technology include renowned companies such as Varta. This way, we keep your application running.

What are batteries and rechargeable batteries?

A battery is an electrochemical energy store. When charging or discharging, electrical energy is converted into chemical energy and vice versa.

In non-rechargeable primary batteries, the reactions are irreversible after discharge. The chemical reaction in rechargeable secondary batteries (generally accumulators) is reversible, i.e. they can be charged or discharged multiple times.

Which batteries and accumulators do we have in our portfolio?

We offer primary and secondary cells as button, round or prismatic cells. Lithium ions, nickel metal hydride, silver oxide, alkane manganese are the common chemical systems.

What are the areas of application of batteries and rechargeable batteries

The COIN-POWER lithium-ion batteries are particularly noteworthy. Rechargeable batteries in the form of a button cell. High cycle stability (at 800 full cycles still at least 80% capacity) and high operational reliability thanks to the metal housing.
